The Cabbage Soup Diet

I've tried this diet several times before and it  worked pretty well with me, I lost 4-5 kilos per week. Now I'm back to it! :( I'm going on vacation end of March and I have to lose some weight! I am not a nutritionist, doctor, diet expert, fitness guru, etc.  I am doing this for ME, with the approval of my doctor.  If  you decide to follow this eating plan, It's better to research the plan yourself and should not choose to follow it simply based on my experience.

Remember: This diet should only be followed for 7 days at a time, with at least two weeks in between.

Day One:
Fruit: Eat all of the fruit you want (except bananas). Eat only your soup and the fruit for the first day. For drinks- unsweetened teas, cranberry juice and water.

Day Two:
Vegetables: Eat until you are stuffed will all fresh, raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat all the vegetables you want along with your soup. At dinner, reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter. Do not eat fruit today.

Day Three:
Mix Days One and Two: Eat all the soup, fruits and vegetables you want. No Baked Potato.

Day Four:
Bananas and Skim Milk: Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.

Day Five:
Beef And Tomatos: Ten to twenty ounces of beef and up to six fresh tomtoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water this day to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat your soup at least once this day. You may eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef (but absolutely no skin-on chicken). If you prefer, you can substitute broiled fish for the beef one one of the beef days (but not both).

Day Six: Beef and Vegetables: Eat to your heart's content of beef and vegetables this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like, with leafy green vegetables. No Baked Potato. Eat your soup at least once.

Day Seven:
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables: Again stuff, stuff, stuff yourself. Be sure to eat your soup at least once this day.

Black is Back

"Every room can use a touch of black" is so true and is something to remember when it comes to interiors.
Bright colors are taking a back seat to black.

Contemporary & Modern Glass Coffee Table

It can get frustrating trying to find the perfect coffee tables for your home or office...

The table you choose plays a very important role in centering your furnishings and makes the rooms in your home feel totally complete. And it's all about space! Perfecting the space around your table and your other home furnishings is just as important as the table you choose.

A glass coffee table is a beautiful and functional addition to any living space..If your coffee table is only going to get light use then there is nothing as classy as molded glass one.

Chesterfield Leather Sofa

Do you want to upgrade the furniture of your living room and buy a leather sofa to enhance the overall look of your room? Buying a sofa these days is a big decision as it comes in various designs and varieties.

The best reason to have a leather sofa is that you can easily clean them. They are just perfect for people who have small children in their house as they make the furniture dirty quite often. But if you have such furnishing set in your home you can easily clean them even if the children spill something on it or they jump on it and dirty it.

One of the most hip sofa styles appearing these days in all types of decor from modern to industrial to traditional is the Chesterfield. The richly detailed diamond tufted upholstery and rolled arms are it's most distinguishing features.

I recently bought a leather chesterfield for my living room and I love it. ...

ORCHIDS

Orchid flowers have a typical range of shapes and sizes and have unique fragrant, orchid can be entertaining eye on the sidelines exhausted everyday activities. Orchid plants, one of the most beautiful in the world.

I decided to finally give Orchids a try. After doing a bit of research I got two at IKEA. I'm not sure exactly what they are, one was simply labeled "Orchid" and the other didn't even have a price tag .The cashier didn't know what it was, and didn't know how to spell Orchid. So the receipt says "orchpla" !!!!!

Any advice in keeping them alive, or help in identifying them would be appreciated :)
